Wesley Chapel Youth had their kick-off on June 23rd at Kingwood Grove. It was a pretty good turn out, with approximately 12 youth and a great team of support from parents and church members. Thankfully, the rain held off for us to get in a fun game of kickball after we went to the pavilions for a lesson given by Mark Millin. He spoke to the youth about the changes and challenges they will most likely face within the coming years. It was an excellent first lesson. Pastor Roger brought pizza and wings for dinner while we all mingled and played cornhole. We are excited to see this youth organization grow over the coming year! Please note you do not have to be a member of Wesley Chapel to join in on the fun, but if you’d like to learn more about what Jesus Christ can do for you and fellowship with other believers, we’d love to have you.
